Today sees the launch of RisingStars.TV, an internet tv station that focuses purely on Youth Sport.
We are keen to cover as many sports as possible and below is a little info on what we are about and trying to achieve.
RisingStars.TV will focus purely on Youth Sport. All content on the site will be purely video based with little text, to make it engaging and exciting for all those involved in sport and sports enthusiasts alike. Research has shown that anything web based needs to be short and snappy to engage viewers - particularly younger viewers - and we will look to create pieces that show sport, its RisingStars and the work that goes on around sport in this way. We will be looking to do athlete/player profiles and interviews, 'a day in the life of' covering events, grass roots, performance, looking at behind the scenes and many many other areas associated with Youth Sport. There will also be opportunites to use our RSTV Cams which are used by the sports representatives at events to get close up coverage of events, video diaries etc which can then be returned to us to be uploaded onto the site. ( of course if the association has its own video cameras and it is compatable with our equipment then that would also be possible).
Our target audience, it is aimed at everyone who has an interest in sport of some kind, whether they do sport for fun or competively, those involved with sports associations, academies, organisations and their members to family and friends keen to watch there younger family members involved in sport from grass roots through to elite level.
Our aim is to promote Youth Sport, and RisingStars.TV is keen to work with as many organisations, associations, academies, individuals etc to promote what they feel shows their sport off in the very best light.
I would like to emphasise that RisingStars.TV is about promoting all the positives within sport not the negatives and we are happy to discuss any possiblilities for promoting Youth Sport and its RisingStars.
