Mental Health

The EKF are aware of the importance of looking after mental health as well as physical health for our health and wellbeing. Therefore, for those who are experiencing and suffering difficulties with their mental health the EKF would like to alert Members to a range of helpful resources.

Documented below is a booklet advising how to look after your mental health using exercise as well as some useful contact details for expert support agencies. Furthermore, for coaches looking to gain a better understanding of mental health issues, there is also a link to the UK Coaching course on, ‘Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity’. This course has been developed by industry experts Mind and funded by Sport England and the National Lottery.
