Patience Kakitie

Director - Sponsorship
EKF Director

I have experience of Karate as a parent, athlete, coach, event organiser and fundraiser.

I’ve been teaching Karate since establishing my own classes in 2010. I now teach at prominent schools, a private health club and fitness centres around Oxford.

I have competed every year since 2009 in both Veteran and Senior categories, Regionally, Nationally and Internationally. My experiences have opened my eyes to the challenges of our developing sport, as we work towards lessening the financial burden of our dedicated athletes.

Outside of Karate, I have qualifications in Design, Business & Finance and a degree in Economics. I am also a fitness instructor and personal trainer.

I am a forward thinker, well-connected and can bring to any role bags of enthusiasm matched by the integrity of my actions and passion for my craft. I’m optimistic that I can make a positive contribution to the board of the EKF, for the support and benefit of members our dedicated athletes.
