Sensei Kelly Horsfall, 4th Dan –
Sensei Kelly Horsfall has been dedicated to the Shito-ryu style of Karate for 18 years. She commenced her martial arts journey with the Ken Yu Kai Karate Association under the guidance of Sensei Terry Pottage (9th Dan), earning her black belt at the tender age of 11. Currently, she trains at Sale Dojo with the Yanagi Kai Karate Association, led by Chief Instructor Sensei Ian Swain (7th Dan).
Kelly herself is an accomplished competitor, with extensive experience both nationally and internationally in Kata and Kumite. She began training with the England National Squad at the age of 12 and made her debut at the World Championships in 2011 as part of the Junior Kata Squad. Since then, she has represented England in Team Kata at numerous World and European Championships, both at Junior and Senior levels.
