Safeguarding
Creating a safe, positive and respectful karate community
Safeguarding is central to building a karate community where everyone can train, fully participate, and grow together.
At the English Karate Federation CIC, we are dedicated to the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every member of our karate community, from children and young people to adults.
Everyone should be able to take part in karate in a setting where they feel safe, respected, supported, and heard.
Safeguarding is more than responding to issues. It means building a culture where good practice is shared, everyone feels able to raise concerns, and we prioritise the welfare of all participants.
