The countdown is on! The English Karate Federation is proud to announce the return of the EKF International Open to the iconic Crystal Palace, London, on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025.
Following the huge success of last year’s debut event, the 2nd edition promises to be even bigger, bolder, and more exciting – attracting karate athletes from across the globe.

This year’s EKF International Open will once again bring together karatekas from multiple countries, creating a unique atmosphere of competition, camaraderie, and cultural exchange. Competitors will showcase their talent across Kata and Kumite divisions, with the addition of the Senior Open Weight category – set to deliver some truly thrilling matches.
Whether you’re an experienced athlete chasing medals, a newcomer eager to test yourself, or a coach guiding your squad to the next level, this event is the perfect platform to shine.
