Kempo Karate Association was Established in November 2022 Sensei Matt Handley 4th Dan Black belt and is members of the English Karate Federation, The British Karate federation and the World karate federation. Our Association is multi style group and has a policy of NON interference in the daily running of Clubs, Kempo Karate Association has inclusion at the heart of all its membership and promotes martial arts for all throughout our Association. All clubs and instructors work to their own syllabus, Customs and Practices. We Also have a wealth of Knowledge if needed to help our clubs grow and flourish. Our Philosophy IKIGAI which means follow your Passion. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your ‘reason for being.’ ‘Iki’ in Japanese means ‘life,’ and ‘gai’ describes value or worth. Your ikigai is your life purpose or your bliss. It’s what brings you joy and inspires you to get out of bed we every day. Kempo Karate association want to bring all clubs together in an inclusive environment and build a strong Association were people share the same passions. We run Many courses a summer karate camp each year and Attend many EKF, BKF, WKF competitions with our association team.
