EKF Head Kumite Coach

Dear Heads of Association and members

It is with sadness, that due to personal reasons, Junior Lefevre Sensei has resigned his position as National Coach .

Junior has been instrumental and a leading light in bringing about changes in the National Kumite squad, and we are grateful for his service.  Junior now wishes to take a new approach and direction in his life, which he feels will not allow him the time needed to complete the role of a National coach. We wish him all the very best for the future and would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the work he has done for the EKF. 

In the interim, our current Assistant kumite coaches (Dean Lowe, Jory Chather and Satinder Sehra) will continue their work, leading the kumite squad as planned to the world championships in Hungary, and then onto the 2024 Europeans. We believe this will cause minimal disruption, and allow us to continue the excellent progress that has already been made as we continue to build for the future.
