Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee

Her Majesty's Diamond JubileeFor six decades Her Majesty The Queen has been the symbol of our national identity. She has demonstrated steadfastness, leadership, a devotion to duty and a sense of honour that has guided us through the challenges of this uncertain and changing world. She has given us pride in our country, as well as in ourselves and has set standards for us to follow. The primary objective of Karate is the improvement of the self and these celebrations will inspire us to further better our behaviour and the way we treat others.

On behalf of the Board of the English Karate Federation and the many thousands that practice Karate in this country, I congratulate Her Majesty on her Diamond Jubilee and wish her a continued long and happy reign.
