ANNOUNCEMENT - REGIONAL SQUAD TRAINING 26TH JUNE

Following the Government’s announcement on Monday 15th June which extended the current restrictions, members of the performance department including all the Head Regional Coaches met on Tuesday16th June to consider the implications. As a direct result, regional training will be restricted to those under 18yrs old for Kumite and open to those under 18yrs and those over 18yrs for Kata. Sadly, it does mean that those over 18yrs Kumite athletes will now miss out. We will seek to arrange additional regional training to make up for the missed session. If you are 18 years or over and have registered for regional kumite training, please email squadadmin@englishkaratefederation.com to arrange a refund.
Please note that due to the variety of training venues being used for regional training and each imposing their own restrictions on numbers allowed within their venue, we have decided to restrict numbers that can attend regional training. Registration will therefore be on a first come first served basis and once the limit is reached the registration will close. Please do understand that this is not our preference but about following Government, EKF and Venue COVID safety requirements. For those of you who are attending training, please ensure that you read and understand the Regional training Covid protocol and bring the relevant paperwork (as listed in the document) with you to the session.
