WKF World Championships Latest Updates

* Natalie Williams WKF World Bronze Medallist *

Having won through 4 rounds of fighting on Thurday, Natalie lost out in the 5th round semi-final to Australia's K.Mah missing the weekend's final by the narrowest of margins. However, not all was lost as this put Natalie into the repechage final to face Japan's Y.Miyamoto for the bronze medal fight-off taking place on Saturday.

Natalie stepped up to the mark for England in the repechage final and didn't dissapoint as she triumphed over her opponent winning 2-1 to claim a coveted World Championship medal and cement Natalie's position as one of the best female fighters in the World. Well done Natalie.

Alton Brown lost out to Bosnian's N.Potur losing 4-1 in the Male U75kg repechage final after coming through 5 rounds earlier on Thursday facing current World Champion R.Aghayev in the semi-finals. Alton lost out but made the repechage final only to miss out on a bronze medal after haveing gone so far. Unlucky Alton.
