Tatami Coaches Accreditation

Dear Association Coaches.

Please be advised that from January 1st 2011 everyone who wants to coach at any EKF regional or national championships will need to hold a current tatami coaches accreditation.

This is something that has been in place previously and is now going to be put back into practice, this will not affect any competitions for this year. Anyone wishing to gain this accreditation, or revalidate their's can do so by attending any Kumite course and taking the tatami coaches exam. This will entail sitting through the theory at the beginning of the course and then sitting a written exam. The cost will be £15 and will be valid for two years. Two passport size photos will be required.

NO passes will be issued on the day of competitions.

This exam will only be available on Kumite courses and the dates for these can be found on the EKF website. Please see Referee's section for details of upcoming courses »
